CSM - Kern Richmond Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of long-time College of San Mateo political science professor, Kern Richmond.

Eligibility includes a 3.30 GPA, economic need, and high academic and professional promise. Recipients must seek careers in college teaching in one of the social sciences or college counseling, or in careers in non-profit and humane organizations, or in organizations that promote and protect civil liberties and civil rights. Renewable through undergraduate years providing the student undertakes a full program of courses that would be transferable to a University of California campus or comparable institution.
