CSM - Michael Chriss Astronomy Awards

These awards will be open to all students who are or have enrolled in an astronomy course at College of San Mateo. The winners of the awards shall have the option of choosing either a $500 scholarship or an ETX-90 or equivalent telescope. Students may choose one of two categories of projects, which must be pre-approved as suitable:

1. An original observational astronomy research project at the CSM Observatory or 2. An expository research paper on astronomy and history, the arts, and culture.

The prize winners will be chosen by the Head of the Astronomy department, and other involved, collaborating faculty in the astronomy and other departments.
