CAN - Christine Ryland Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for an incoming, continuing or transferring Canada student with financial need and declared long-term health problems or disabilities, who perseveres in times of challenges and maintains a positive outlook with a demonstrated commitment to pursuing a college education. Each year, the selection is made from a pool of applicants who meet those criteria with input and recommendations by the Disability Resource Center.

This annual award recognizes College of San Mateo, Cañada College, and Skyline College students with long-term health conditions or declared disabilities.

Applicants must show evidence of the following for consideration:
1. Be enrolled at College of San Mateo, Cañada College, and Skyline College,
2. Be a full- or part-time student,
3. Be a new, continuing, or transferring student,
4. Have a long-term health condition or declared disability(s),
5. Demonstrate a positive outlook, perseverance in times of challenge, and a commitment to pursuing a college education.
