CSM - Rao Madamala Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in memory of pharmaceutical research scientist Rao Madamala, whose numerous patents made significant contributions to the field, this scholarship recognizes one continuing student each year. Eligible students must major in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and/or Pre-Pharmacy and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The award prioritizes candidates with a commitment to pursuing groundbreaking scientific research.

Applicants must show evidence of the following for consideration:
1. Be a continuing student enrolled full- or part-time at College of San Mateo,
2. Have at least 24 units or more completed,
3. Be majoring in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and/or Pre-Pharmacy (Biology may be included if needed to broaden the pool),
4. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
